Overview

The Cessna Citation Mustang 150 Model was introduced in 2002 but was first flown in April 2005 and received its Full-type Certification from Federal Aviation Association (FAA) on September 2006. April 2007 was the 1st retail delivery.

It is a very light business jet that can accommodate up to 4 passengers in the cabin and 2 in the cockpit. Just like the other light business jet aircrafts, Mustang Citation was approved for single-pilot operation.

The Cessna Mustang Citation Model 150 is also a low-wing cantilever monoplane. It has a tricycle retractable landing gear. The main landing gear offers excellent shock-absorption as well as the anti-skid brakes during landing. Two Pratt and Whitney Canada PWF615F turbofan engines power the Mustang. These engines are mounted and fixed on pods in the rear aft fuselage. The Mustang also has the same avionics package as most of the Cessna aircraft, the Garmin G1000. Having the Garmin G1000 helps take-off workload on the pilot while gives ultimate measure of awareness. It has one main door located on the left side of the aircraft and an additional emergency door or exit on the center right section area of the fuselage.

Upon the approval of FAA, Citation Mustang can fly on icing conditions. Its pneumatic boots on the wings and vertical fin inflate allows it to shed ice built during flight.

The Mustang also has an ample, 57 cubic feet external baggage storage. Its sleek design combines the high-aspect ratio wings and a T tail design.

The Cessna Citation Mustang Interior is another feather on its cap. It has an attractive décor and roomy interior. It has six large oval windows and comfortable all-leather seats- club seating arrangement. It also comes with a dropped aisle design complete with refreshment storage, passenger table, wool carpeting and lavatory. The standard configuration design also provides left and right hand forward storage cabinets.

The Cessna Citation Mustang has it all: comfort, style and unparalleled performance. It is also considered to be the smallest, least expensive aircraft in the Cessna family.
